Who, What, When, Where

David, Leslie and Xander. That's us! I'm going to tell you a little bit about us! This blog, by the way is to share our memories and events with family and friends. Because both David and I have family out of town, family who has never had a chance to meet our precious son, we are bringing the adventures and photos to you! As well as giving you a chance to get to know us a little better! So here goes!
  I was born  in Guatemala city, Guatemala.When i was about two years old we moved to Southern California, where I grew up and learned of the wonderful day of April fool's. My favorite April fool's joke was..your shoes untied...NOT! Yeah lame i know, but hey i was 5! Give me a break! As you may have assumed or not..Spanish is my first language. I didn't learn English until i was about 4, and my first word in English was Chicken! ..yes Chicken!!! Yum. The first thing i learned to read was the Baby Blues Comics in the newspaper..Growing up i enjoyed having little mini frogs and turtles as pets, playing in the park with my Power Ranger scooter, and playing dress up with my two little brothers, Randy and Bryan. We loved going to the Monrovian Fair, buying strawberries and huge fresh baked cookies! Now I am happily married and a first time mom. I ♥ to dance, I ♥ watermelon, I am learning how to cook delicious food, since i love food sooo much! Ha ha. I am very grateful and lucky to be a stay at home mom. Xander is such a blessing in our lives. Nothing is better then hearing his playful giggle!

  David was born in Folsom California, where he enjoyed anything outdoorsy with his brothers. He tells me of the wonderful crazy adventures of camping and dirt biking. I've seen the awesome home videos that showed little Davids fun childhood. What a cutie, curly blond hair, and energy through the roof. He is the third oldest of seven!!! In college he owned a snake named Neo, a Burmese python, which got too big and he had to give away..thank goodness!! He has a very creative mind and an amazing talent at digital animation, modeling and animating. He increased these talents by getting a Bachelors Degree at ITT Tech. Up above is his latest work which he made for the show Alternative X, for the dome theater, a 360 Degree theater, where you sit back look up and enjoy the show! Davids hobbies are video games, hot tubbing, he loves sushi and curry just like me! David is an amazing cook, he as well loves Good Eats, and makes THE BEST hash browns, no lie!  He enjoys Knee boarding, and is a pro with computers! David is such a great dad. Xander loves to be in his arms, and enjoyings a good tickling!

   Xander William was born on June 9th 2010. At first he was expected to be a girl, then later a 10 pound baby with a huge head. However I was lucky enough to give birth to a 6 pound 13 ounce baby boy. From the first moments in the hospital he had already smiled, held his head up, managed to grab the little snot thing they use on your nose, and make us fall madly in love. His hobbies are, drooling, spitting up, laughing and giggling to the touch of our embrace, and being video camera shy.  Yes that's right, every time we pull the camcorder out he stops laughing or talking. Instead he just stares at the camera, amused by its little beeping sound and red recording light. He's getting better about it though! Which is a great thing. Photos on the other hand he doesn't mind, he loves mommy's blue camera. He poses and smiles, talks and groans. He will be 4 months old very soon. Time is passing much too quickly. But as i serve him, feed him, care for him, my love grows immensely, just as our universe grows, so does my love.

  We are such a blessed family. We have everything to be eternally grateful for. Our humble home, which everyday gets filled with more and more love, toys and stinky diapers. I love my husband David, and our wonderful son Xander. Life is for living and loving. Thanks for reading and letting me share! I know this was long, but this is what i wanted to share!
