My moms birthday!

My mom is such an amazing mother and grandma! We wanted to make sure she had a special day! So we woke her up with her favorite donut and some roses and of course our tradition of Las Mañanitas. We enjoyed lunch at Cindy Lee's were we where's hot pho and some chow mein. We then headed over to Mid City Salon for a pedicure! Headed over to Macy's for some quick shopping and then got ready to head over to see the Nutcracker by the Ballet West at Capitol Theater.

Christmas Craziness

Our Christmas this year was very busy, very tiring, and very fun. We started Christmas Eve by having my mom over for dinner. As always we kept our Guatemalan tradition alive by celebrating Noche Buena and staying up till midnight eating tamales and sipping on ponche. Once the clock struck 12 we opened up our presents! Xander was in bed, eagerly awaiting the morning so he could open his presents from Santa.

Christmas morning we woke up and watched Xander open his gifts, then headed to a delicious traditional breakfast at my mom in laws. In the afternoon we headed to Davids aunts house for a huge luncheon with all the cousins! In the evening we head over to my father in laws for dinner and even more presents. We felt very spoiled, very full, and very tired by the end of the night. At my dad in laws Lynn's we also have a "tradition" which for the 1st time in 3 years actually happened, the Christmas pinata.

Evey shows her passion and excitement through her facial expressions so cute and entertaining!

We are too cool for pictures, but sure we will smile :)
